LAUSANNE (3x3) - On Sunday 22 July team Ljubljana punched their qualification for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour in Madrid at the Thabo Rivella Games in Lausanne.

The winning team was composed of Simon Finzgar, Rok Vrecic, Adin Kavgic, Petar Vujovic.

"We are really happy to have won here, the setting was really amazing and so were the conditions," said Vrecic team captain of team Ljubljana.
"We can't wait to be in Madrid and go up against the other teams.

We want to thank the oragnisers for putting this wonderful event together and the level of play was good."

Not only was the location jaw dropping but the event was also hosted by NBA star Thabo Sefolosha whose hometown is right around the corner.

"I'm really pleased that this event was organised. It's always nice when people can see basketball at its best.

When I was young I always played 3x3 with my brother and friend. We always were on the same team," added Sefolosha.

Over the course of the day more than 1,500 spectators watched the games and participated in numerous side activities.

Viewers were able to watch 15 teams compete against each other for the sole ticket to the Madrid World Tour that will take place on 8-9 September.
