Fabricio tops all scorers at FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships

ASTANA (2016 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships) - Brazil star Fabricio Verissimo led all scorers at the 2016 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Championships after shining on the last day of competition.

The dribble-happy Fabricio scored 67 points in 7 games and had some memorable games, including a 13-point outburst against the Philippines, 14 versus Spain and an insane 16-point performance in the quarter-finals against Slovenia.

Fabricio carried Brazil to the gold medal game and was named MVP of the competition.

Fellow members of the Team of the Tournament Flavio Gay (Italy) and Tai Wynyard (New Zealand) finished second and third respectively.

In the women's category, MVP Astou Gaye (France) had a tournament-high 57 points. The two others members of the Team of the Tournament [Megan Walker (USA), Sara Krumpholcova (Czech Republic) were tied at second place
