BUCHAREST (FIBA 3x3 European Championships) - Gabriela Marginean (Romania) topped all scorers in the women’s category with 38 points at the FIBA 3x3 European Championships in Bucharest, Romania on 2-4 September 2016.
The 29-year-old got to a flying start on Day 1 with 16 points in the pool phase with a 9-point climax against Belgium. She added 5 points in the quarter-finals against Czech Republic, 8 in the semi-finals versus Switzerland and a game-high 9 points in the final versus Hungary.
Petra Szabo (Hungary) ended second with 28 points while Anna Zarytska (Ukraine) was third with 25 points in just 3 games.
