Vlaicu tops all scorers on Day 2 at the 3x3 World Championships

GUANGHZOU (FIBA 3x3 World Championships) - Romania's Catalin Vlaicu and Andorra's Jorge Olcina led all scorers on the second day of the FIBA 3x3 World Championships in Guangzhou, China on 12 October 2016.

The 2014 European champ Vlaicu scored 16 points in two games, including a 10-point outburst in Romania's opening win against Poland (20-16) while sharpshooter Olcina buried 5 two-pointers in a losing effort against Indonesia (19-20).

José Rojas (Spain), Angel Santana (Romania) and new Filipino sensation Glenn Khobuntin followed with 15 points.

USA's flashy playmaker Stefhon Hannah continues to top the overall rankings after two days with 17 points.

In the women's category, 4 players were tied with 13 points on the day 2: Michaela Uhrová (Czech Republic), Sabrina Palie (France), Jacobine Klerx (Netherlands) and Dena Franklin (New Zealand).

The three top scorers of Day 1 (Argentina's Natacha Perez, Australia's Maddison Rocci and the number one 3x3 player in the world Hungary's Petra Szabo) remain on top of the scoring charts.
