Randriamampionona tops all scorers at FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2017

LOME (FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup 2017) - Elly Randriamampionona (Madagascar) led all scorers at the FIBA 3x3 Africa Cup in Lomé, Togo on November 3-5, 2017.

So the Shoot-Out Contest is not the only place where the 20-year-old was getting buckets. The 20-year-old scored a tournament-high 46 points in 5 games in Togo.

The 6ft 2in (1.88m) sharpshooter had 3 games in double digits, including an 11-point explosion in the pool phase against Niger.

Egypt big man Ramy Ibrahim finished second with 40 points while the athletic Nigeria star Abdul Yahaya was third with 39 points overall.

In the women's category, another 20-year-old won the scoring charts. Jamila Nansikombi (Uganda) scored 34 of her 44 points from behind the arc!

Cote d'Ivoire star Mamiky Cisse finished second with 37 points overall while Nkechi Akashili (Nigeria) and Djeneba Ndiaye (Mali) were tied in third place with 28.
