MIES (FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2018) - FIBA 3x3 World Tour players and managers met with the FIBA 3x3 staff to discuss thrilling developments in the 3x3 professional season for 2019 and beyond at the House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland, on December 5, 2018.
The 28 participants (including representatives from the top 8 ranked teams in the world) reviewed the year and were given a first outlook of the 2019 professional season, with an expected increase in number of events, both for World Tour and Challengers events.
Players and managers had an opportunity to share their ideas regarding the professionalization of the sport and discuss the road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Other topics included updates on team management and sports integrity.
This was the second edition of the workshop, which is held on a yearly basis.
