MINSK (Belarus) – Four years after completing an impressive double, Russia will once again be one of the favorites for gold in the 3x3 event of the European Games, which take place in Minsk, on June 21-24, 2019.

Russia will feature plenty of rising stars with FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup 2018 winners Kirill Pisklov, Stanislav Sharov (men) and Anna Pozdnyakova (women) all taking the court in Belarus.

The list of 3x3 stars continues with the number 2 ranked woman in the world Caroline Hériaud spearheading a strong French team and 3-time World champ Marko Zdero leading a strong Serbian team.

A total of 40 teams (20 men’s and 20 women’s teams) compete in Minsk and are seeded in 4 pools of 5 teams. Only the 2 best teams from each pool make it to the knock-out rounds, taking place on June 24.
