RIYADH (Saudi Arabia) - World Tour 2020 winners Riga dominated Day 1 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Riyadh Masters in Saudi Arabia on November 11, 2022.

THE TEAM

This year's Montreal and Cebu Masters winners Riga showed why they are one of the favorites to win the Riyadh Masters as they completed the pool stage undefeated with 2 wins against Lusail (22-9) and then against offensive force Utrecht, limiting them to only 6 points (21-6). Their winning streak is now at 22 on the pro circuit.

Ub Huishan NE, Vienna and Omaha 3Ball also finished Day 1 undefeated.

THE PLAYER

Strahinja Stojacic was the man to watch as the #1 player in the World took over to lead Ub Huishan NE to two victories and advance as first in Pool A. Eleven highlights, 4 key assists and 13 points for "Dr. Strange" on the opening Day of the Riyadh Masters. 

Also, worth mentioning Worthy de Jong's show in Utrecht's win over Lusail, including a one-handed poster dunk.
